Ma Operio, 61, was found unresponsive with a zip tie around her neck Wednesday in the 4400 block of Natchez Avenue. She died Sunday evening. A suspect is in custody.
About 7:05 p.m. Sunday, the boy was near the sidewalk in the 6000 block of South Elisabeth Street when he was shot in the head, police said. He’s in critical condition.
About 5:25 p.m. Sunday, the boy was in a home in the 9100 block of South Racine Avenue when he was struck in the thigh by gunfire, Chicago police said.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the others was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. His name and age weren’t immediately available.
Officers responded to a shooting and discovered the men in the 5100 block of West Madison Street, police said.
A 26-year-old female driver, heading northbound in the 6900 block of South South Chicago Avenue, collided with the motorcyclist traveling in the same direction, police said.
The man crashed into another car in the 3800 block of West Madison Street. A man inside the other car then shot him multiple times, police said.
The shooting happened in the 1100 block of West 58th Street, police said.
A 53-year-old woman was found dead Saturday in the 4200 block of West Adams.
